Let me tell you how I got here…

Up until 2020, I had spent nearly 15 years working as a Speech and Language Therapist for the NHS. It was an incredibly rewarding time in my life. I helped individuals who needed support to find their voice and a way to express it - for many of my clients, speech would never be their form of communication, so it was my job to help them find their voice and find the best way for them to express it to the world.

I understand that life can be frustrating, unpredictable, full of obstacles and difficulties, but I also know that we are beautifully complex and unique, and finding YOUR way through life is a journey that is worth doing well.

Long before I was a life coach, I was witnessing amazing transformation and personal growth all around me. As well as my NHS patients, I was working on a daily basis with junior members of staff and students; facilitating their personal and professional growth and transformations.

And I have also been hugely impacted by coaching and mentoring myself, both personally and professionally along the way. Needless to say, it feels that life coaching is something I have been working towards for some time!

In 2019, I completed a Diploma in Coaching and Mentoring through the Institute of Counselling while still working for the NHS. I then made the most exciting decision to leave my role as a speech and language therapist and become a life coach!

What am I working on now?

As an advocate of your personal and professional development, you will also find me working on my own. Gotta practice what I preach! I am currently working towards gaining a coaching accreditation with the International Coaching Federation.
